The Photographs

All photographs from the Fine Art section¹ (Places; Objects; The New Gods; Drifters, Wanderers; and Habits of Male Primates) of this website are available for purchase as prints. Images can be printed on four different papers: Kodak Professional Supra Endura VC Digital Paper (Matte Finish), Metallic Paper (Pearlescent Finish), True Black and White Paper (Matte Finish); or Hahnemuhle Photo Rag. All four papers are acid-free, gallery-ready, archival quality papers that will not fade for 100 to 200 years.

Prints on Kodak, Metallic, or True BW paper will be mounted on single- or double-weight mountboard, depending on the size of the image, to both protect it from bending during shipping and to allow you have a durable print ready for framing services. At the customer's request, photos can be mounted on canvass on matboard or canvass on stretcher frame for an additional charge. Prints on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag are not normally mounted, but can be for an additional charge.

Each print will have a lustre coating that protects against fingerprints and UV rays. Lustre coating provides for a richer, enhanced sheen on prints of every size.

Each image that is available for sale is in a limited print run of 50, and each print will be marked. For example, if you purchase the first print in a limited edition, your print will be marked as 1/50; if you purchase the last available print of a particular image, it will be marked as 50/50. Each print is signed by the photographer. Signature and edition number will be printed on retro at customer's request, on verso if not. Also at the customer's request, your print will be delivered with a letter of authenticity, also signed by the photographer.

Sizes and Prices

The price, per print, also includes delivery costs to anywhere in the world. You are responsible for any additional charges, levies, taxes, or other costs that may be imposed by customs authorities in your country.

Each image can be printed with a small white border to allow for proper framing. This border may slightly reduce the image size.

Delivery

Your order will be processed once your payment is received. You will be notified by email once your payment has been accepted, and you can expect your print to arrive approximately two weeks from this date. All prints are sent by UPS and are professionally packaged to ensure that they arrive in perfect condition. You will also receive an email with the UPS tracking number so you can track the location of your package.

Refunds and Replacements

Any print that is damaged in transit will be replaced by the photographer. Replacement prints are shipped only after the return and inspection of all damaged merchandise. In certain cases, refunds may be granted in lieu of replacement, at the sole discretion of Scott Barnes Photography and its agents.

Privacy

Your privacy is important. Any personal information that you provide to Scott Barnes will be kept in strict confidence. This includes your email and contact information, which will not be used for purposes other than to communicate with you about your purchase/prints. All electronic payments will be processed via a secure PayPal or Google server. Other payment options include personal check or money order.
